ACOBAWC – USA Scholarships

The program initiated by the Executive Committee (EXCO) aims to promote and recognize more students, while expanding merit-based scholarships beyond the Sri Welaratna Scholarships. The objective is to extend the impact and success of the scholarship program to more students in Grades 5 through 10.

As the organization evaluated the contributions of the merit-based scholarships to the overall education at Ananda College, it recognized the need to motivate more students after the Covid-19 shutdown.

Following extensive research, the organization decided to increase the total number of scholarships to ten per grade level, resulting in a total of 60 scholarships shared between the Dr. Sri Welaratna Scholarships and member-initiated scholarships.
