About the Teacher:

Most Ven Dr. Wattegama Subhavi Thero is an eminent Sri Lankan Dhamma Teacher with in-depth knowledge of Tipitaka.

After entering the Buddha Sasana at age twenty, became ardent Buddhist practitioner and teacher of Theravada tradition.

Earned his BA and MA in Buddhist studies at Buddhist and Pali University in Sri Lanka. In 2018 he earned his PhD on Buddhist Philosophy at Mahā Chulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in Thailand.

He is reading his post graduate diploma in “Buddhist Diplomacy for Intl Relations” at BCIS (Bandaranaike Center for International Studies) in Sri Lanka.

His unique teaching style helps any level of layman to easily understand the finer details of deep Buddhist principles of Meditation. We are very lucky to have him for our Founders Day Program -2022.
